New reviews for Zachary Cale, Allysen Callery and Thisell:
“THISELL debut hit me without warning. When I put on the vinyl, I didn’t expect such a beautiful record. ” writes Ralph Etter @ slyvinyl.
Israel radio station 106.fm says about THISELL: “The melted combination of lyrical tenderness and European and American influenced music on this album comes to a kind of perfection.”
And the always knowledgeable Terrascope magazine states:
“On her fifth album ALLYSEN CALLERY has managed to distill the very essence of her sound creating her strongest collection to date, the songs driven by her haunting voice and the sound of steel strung guitar. “
“Based around his guitar picking prowess, ZACHARY CALE’s “Blue Rider” is a collection of fairly minimalistic songs that blend the guitar, subtle drones and shards of vocals that paint pictures in your mind.”
“Filled with honest and beautiful songs, the latest album from Swedish musician PETER THISELL is a delight from beginning to end.”
Hats off to Simon Lewis!
